So here's the gist of what I did to make my hobbit feet for my upcoming cosplay. Haven't worn them too much yet, mostly to check they do fit and are pretty easy to walk around in, but have gotten a lot of compliments. As well as questions on how I made them. Hence this submission!

Can't take credit for the idea. Came from seeing [link]
Thank you :icondamnitsasha: for answering all my questions!

Feet from ebay and the wig from a hairdresser near my office. It was a lot more fluffy, I had to tame it down.

I'm working on a Bilbo cosplay and plan on making a pair of these...what kind of "gap filler" did you use? Thanks!

Hmm... I forget the brand name... Just bought it at the hardware store. Comes in an aerosol can and squirts out like a sort of foam that quickly hardens.

Ohh, like the caulking foam stuff? Did you have to test it in small amounts and then see if it fit on the shoe properly? What was your process with it? Thanks again!

Now sure what that is. I can tell you the brand when I get home if you like.
Mostly my process was to glue the foot/toes (because I cut off most of the heel and sole) onto the shoe and then poke the nozzle of the foam stuff into the gaps and fill it in. You might want to put some in and put it on the shoe while still soft as I think I indented the shoe part a bit with mine and it's not very comfortable to wear now.
