Raptor Hatchlings - lineart

Well my buddy Hibbary is just fantastic at drawing raptors, so we've decided to start a shop on Gaia based on them. My job was to do the baby stage and the eggs... I didn't manage any eggs but I did come up with these guys. This is the lineart for the hatchlings templates (male on the left, female on the right).

I was aiming for something like baby birds. Since our raptors have some feathers, their hatchlings would be covered in a downy-fluff that'd they'd loose most of as they grew up. I also wnted to do them crouching and curled up, like how you could imagine a baby chicken might be like when sitting in a nest.

Not to mention I rather surprised myself while drawing the male. I never thought I could draw straight onto the screen using my tablet. I'd always worked on paper first and then scanned it, before tracing over on the comp (like how I did with the female). But at Hibbary's prompting (and the scanner being used by my siblings) I went and gave it a shot. And whadda ya know? I think it came out just as good as the pencil-sketched one. ^_^
