Shell Studies 1

A commissioned piece for my dad, to hang up in the lounge room as half of a pair of paintings. We're very big on shells and have quite a few on display in one of those coffee tables with the glass top and the draw underneath. I'll have to take a photo of that sometime.

Anyway, this was a simple painting of four of our favourite shells. There's another four on the other painting to go with this one. They hang side-by-side.

Done on canvas (92cm wide x 55cm high) using acrylics.
