Everyone seems pretty excited about Supanova coming up. I am too! Karl Urban is coming! Dr 'Bones' McCoy from the new Star Trek movie in case anyone was wondering. And what inspired the title of this journal. Definitely want to see him and get an autograph. I'm sure I saw Jhonen Vasquez being advertised as a guest but I can't see him on the list anymore. Did he cancel or was it at one of the other cities' cons and not Perth's? Hmmm...

Do you have to buy tickets for Supanova beforehand? Or can you just buy them at the door? [Edit: Yay for Alice for letting me buy one of her tickets!]

My costume is coming along. Got the main part commissioned since it was out of my sewing league. Only problem is that the jacket is a bit big. I'm hoping I can get it altered and sent back in time. I'd have a go myself but the thing is lined on the inside and I have no idea how that works. If you know anyone who's good at altering clothes and wants to earn some cash, let me know! Otherwise I'll save it for waicon instead and pick something else.

Also my CD of Katamari wa Damacy came at last. I can't read anything on it and almost all the songs are in Japanese... but it's so damn catchy. I love it. And it's good to listen to at work - something perky so I don't fall asleep at my desk but with the songs in another language so I don't accidentally start typing out the lyrics instead of my jobs.

No sign of the shirts I'd ordered from Pegasus Publishing yet though. Been just over three weeks... maybe I should email them.
